I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
So for today’s Talk To Me Tuesday I’d like to challenge you to pick a word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2010?
To encourage everyone to pick their word, I’m giving away prizes!! Three lucky winners will have their Word of the Year customized to one of these fabulous necklaces.
1. RHB Designs
3. Frostings
Simply leave your Word of the Year in the comments.
Feel free to leave your post link or video, if you’ve created one.  Contest ends Jan. 11th.
Strengthen
smiles…2009 was a rough year just getting through so many personal family struggles but through it all a smile is what brought us together. so in 2010 it’s all smiles and knowing that it’s going to be a better and stronger year. also just seeing my 2yr say smile while tilting her head is so adorable and no matter what it does make me smile!
This one was a hard one for me. There are so many great words out there.
Here is my blog post about it.

The word I finally came up with is Happiness.
I chose the word “BREATHE”-not only will it come in handy when I go into labor with #4 but it will remind me to just relax and just enjoy the simple things of life. Enjoy the “present” more.
