I love making special memories with my kiddos and try my best to continue family traditions from year to year. Here is a list of back to school traditions that you can do with your family.
All of these ideas were originally featured on my other blog Tip Junkie. I have compiled all my favorites here in one place for your convenience.

To make things even easier – I’ve compiled them into a 2 page format you can print out and put in your Executive Homemaker binder for future use. Simply circle the ones you do each year so you don’t have to re-invent the wheel every August.
Below I have linked each of the ideas to it’s original source to give these fabulously creative mommies the recognition they deserve.

This post made me a little nostalgic for the days when my children were so excited to be starting a new school year! Wish I’d known about some of these years ago! We always did “First Day of School” pictures! Now that my children are 21 and 22, those first days of school are really precious memories!

Nice articles and tips for all the little Macaroni kids. How supportive are the new moms of today!! As a grandmother to a kindergartener and pre-schooler, I wish we could have been so creative in our day!! But I know they will all adjust to the changes faster than we can keep up with them. Keep the tips coming!

Laurie,
Growing up, my family used to do a backyard campout on the last day of school. It was such a fun way to signal the start of summer vacation!
