Banners and Bunting can be such a fun an inexpensive way to dress up a room for any occasion. Here are nine gorgeous free bunting patterns for you to make. They can be sophisticated like a garland or a creative paper bunting.
1. Love Is All You Need banner – I adore this adorable banner that’s a fun way to show your man how much you really love him.

2. Ruffle Garland {Sewing How To} – Forget the crepe paper streamers. Grown up girls need pretty ruffled garlands at their parties. Some inexpensive muslin can create a priceless atmosphere.
3. PEEPS Bunny Bunting – An adorable felt banner that perfect for Spring or Easter. It will bring such a fun whimsical spirit to your home.
4. Colorful Felted Garland – I used about 1.5 oz. wool roving in several colors, and got about 48 balls out of it. I needed two pairs of stockings to tie up the roving, and used the washing machine technique for felting.
5. Twisted Felt Garland – Felt is the perfect material for quick but stunning projects like this because it’s so easy to work with and comes in the most vibrant saturated colors.

6. Paper heart garland – From far away, this banner looks like just a bunch of hearts hanging together. When you get up close, you’ll notice these cute kiddos make up these hearts.
7. Fringy Streamers DIY – They might be my favorite thing ever right now–they are just so fringey and frilly! Plus they are a cinch to make. Here is how to do it.
8. DIY Pom Pom Banner – Discover the Clover Pom Pom Maker, which allows you to crank out pom poms of all sizes and 10 times faster than the conventional method.

9. Paper Box Banner – For this I used Treat boxes from Walmart. They come as a pack of 8 for $1.50. I decorated the outside and glued stuff to the inside of each with tissue paper and some of the circle garland. I then used masking tape to connect it to a string.

These are adorable. I made my first banner last year for my son’s birthday, a long time before I even started sewing. They are so simple and add such a loving home made touch. I love all of the ones you have pictured here:) Happy Wednesday!
