Birthday Party Theme Ideas

I still have some pretty incredible birthday parties to share with you, so for today’s post I’m featuring birthday party themes ideas that will work for a boy or girl.


1. Art party on Totally Tabletops. I didn’t realize how beautiful decorating with brown paper bags could be!

2. Sock Monkey party from It’s a Mom Thing. Check out that fabulous birthday hat and party favor labels.

3. Wii Bowling Tournament tween birthday party over on Pumpkin Petnuia with free downloads.

4. Wii Tournament party from Heidi. She even had a Mario obstacle course with mystery boxes.


5. Shannon’s Sentiments made some crazy fun things for her Flopsey birthday party. Her invite, birthday candle, and shrinky dink cupcake toppers are fabulous.

6. Hostess with the Mostess featured several fun ideas and links for a penguin themed party.

7. This Yo Gabba Gabba birthday party is OTT. Check out the party favors, labeled drinks, cake, and 3′ Plex.

8. Janet hosted a Prize Robot birthday party for her daughter. This cardboard robot is pretty cool.


9. This rubber duckie birthday party looks like such a great time with all the party games, decor, and favors.

10. Carolina submitted her Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Birthday Party theme.

11. Nicole submitted her Tiny Party she threw for her daughter. That canopy is amazing!

12. Laura also submitted her decorations, cake, and party games for a farm birthday party.

    I love everything! How did you made all these? My son’s birthday is coming soon and I’m definitely stealing some of your ideas!

    The arts theme is great but my son’s a bit active so I guess the Obstacle course would be perfect! I’m sure is party will be much talked about. But I’m not sure if I can stay within my budget with all the materials needed for that. I hope it doesn’t cost that much.

    All the ideas are AMAZING, i got to know and learn many things. My Son’s first birthday is around the corner, and since he was born in PHX – AZ i wanna have the theme as Arizona Cardinals. do u have any ideas in making the invitation / favor / keepsake for kids / party backdrop / table piece / centerpiece. Any ideas are welcome.
