I have found that using a children chart chore not only builds character but helps me focus on their positive behaviors. Maintaining a happy home and teaching responsibility can be overwhelming and challenging as a parent. I want to teach my kids how to work, but I don’t want to nag them or breed negativity.
Children Chore Chart and Reward Ticket System
This is a weekly schedule, children chart chore, and ticket system which can be redeemed for store items or activity rewards. Tickets are given as rewards for chores and good behaviors. Tickets are taken away as consequences. The store contains items to purchase as well as fun activities to do.
I uploaded this printable chore chart over on Tip Junkie Printables for you to use as well. You can tweak it to the needs of your family or just use the tickets.
Chore Chart Children and Templates
1. Token and family chore chart from I’m Topsy Turvy. Anything she wants her kids to do, she pays them in tokens. Anything the kids want to do they buy with their tokens.
2. Scrapbooked chore chart version from Casa Camacho. Each child has many of the same chores. With this chart, I wanted to be able to rotate chores more often.
3. Home made chore chart made from a magnet board from Blogging: The Act of De-cluttering My Mind. The beauty of this board is that everything is removable and can be moved around.
4. Printable Chore Chart and Reward Chart from the Rubber Pumpkin. Formulated for toddler age kids, thus the minimal list for good behavior.
