I was really struggling with my high functioning autistic son during church with his inappropriate behaviors. So I made him a book that not only explains the routine but also behaviors.
I took pictures of him at church, pasted it to colored paper, and laminated it. I attached it with an “O” ring. (Just like the “All About My Family” book.)

What a wonderful idea. My calling at church is to take care of a down syndrome/ autistic child. He has cards like that and they are wonderful!! What a great mom you are!

I am so glad you visited me because now I have found you and I love your blog! so many great ideas, I will definitely be back! I think I will use this tip right away, my five year old boy struggles with sacrament meeting, let’s face it–sometimes church is just not geared for little boys!
