DIY Techno Party Backdrop {Party Decor}

This techno party backdrop is fabulous!  You can create your own focal point easily and inexpensively by following this step by step tutorial.  It is made with a basic wood frame which can be taken apart after each party and reused for the next.  You can later reuse the frame with a different backdrop to suite the party theme.

To make this techno party backdrop:

1. Lay out your old CDs or DVD with the picture side up in your preferred pattern.
2. Hot glue or tie ribbon to a curtain rod, pvc pipe, or dowel rod.
3. Lay out the ribbon on top of the CDs or DVDs leaving 2 inches or so at the end.
4. Hot glue the ribbon onto the CDs or DVDs.

Turn the rod around so the picture side of the CDs or DVDs are facing the wall and only the blank side is showing.
