13 Easy Kids Crafts for Groundhog Day

Groundhog Day is Tuesday, February the 2nd and a great way to “warm” up the winter and bond with the kiddos. This year give them a new tradition or memory for them to reminisce about! Here are 13 easy ground hogs day crafts that include a handprint and footprint groundhog, groundhog treats, masks, puppets, paper plate crafts and even a matching game.

1.  Groundhog Day Cupcakes ~ Transform a chocolate cupcake into an adorable groundhog using peanut butter cups and m&m’s.

2.  Groundhog Pudding Cups ~ Whether the groundhog sees his shadow or not, this little chocolate treat is sure to be a hit with the kiddos. Crumbled oreos give the effect of dirt.

3.  Groundhog Day Push Pop ~ Mini cupcakes on the bottom and a mini snickers bar for the groundhog body make this adorably festive groundhog treat.
