I am still obsessed with finding empty frames to decorate walls in my study! If you have a large wall that you’d like to decorate with empty frames there is some seriously cool inspiration online. If you’re looking to master the art of framing, here’s a taste of what I’ve found:

How to use Empty Frames to Decorate the Wall
Fancy Frame Work with empty frames from Interior Designer Serge Van Lian on StyleWhipped. Her advice is to hang a bunch of quirky looking empty pictures on the wall just as they are, using any random order or placement.
The Sabby Nest has several fabulous empty frame collage ideas for you walls that will inspire you to decorate one of your own walls. My favorite is this photo by Mimi Charmante of Kasey’s Amazing home.
Check out these cool suspended empty frames to decorate walls in All Things G&D guest room. She gives you a complete rundown on how she completed the project and how she laid it out.

I adore the book page butterflies accented inside the empty frames. Just gorgeous! She painted all of the garage sale pictures accumulated over the years and then collaged them on the walls. The paper butterfly’s are just cutouts from book pages stuck on with a bit of foam tacky tape.
I love how these red empty frames pop in this darling craft room from I Am Mama. What’s really cool, is that the bottom middle frame is actually a WINDOW from her craft room into her play room! {{genius!}} This way Mama can keep an eye on the kiddos while she crafts. Doo-od that is cool.
I’m re-posting this from August as I came across a few more fabulous empty frame wall collages that I just had to show you. I hope you enjoy these wall photos, I think they’re beautiful.

I did something very similar on a much… smaller scale in my step-daughter’s room this summer. We loved how it turned out.

I have always loved how a wall like this looks and you have inspired me. This would look great in my guest room. I will just have to start looking for some great frames while I am out thrifting. Love & blessings from NC!
