I hope you all enjoyed the Oscars last night. Hugh Jackman made good on his promise for more “show” and less “biz”, don’t you think? I LOVED it, what a fun show.
Anyway, now that the Tip Junkie Awards are finished, it’s time to get back to business of featuring new ideas from creative bloggers who would love your attention. {{wink}} Here are some really cool gift ideas that you can adapt to any occasion. Enjoy!
Dianna submitted her post on girly homemade gift ideas. She has hooked us up with free downloadables to print out.
Heidi submitted her gift idea; make a comfort box for a grieving friend. Support a friend (even long distance) with these pretty boxes filled with pampering … and cookies!
Katie & Amanda made a tutorial on how to make a Movie Gift Basket. This tutorial shows you how to make and personalize a movie gift basket. These would make great teacher appreciation gifts.
Take a look at these Mod Podge Frames by Sarah. You only need wooden frames, scrapbook paper, flowers, and mod podge.
Jennifer submitted her gift card presentation tutorial; a unique way to give a gift card. {{beautiful}}
Here is Nikki’s stationary set that she made for her sister’s birthday. I love that she made a card holder for it! Inside the card holder here is a ribbon loop in the middle to put a pen.
I’m loving this Victorian-themed mirror from Over The Tipsy Top. {{I adore these girls!}} The giveaway is closed but I wanted to feature the idea anyway. It’s perfect for your girlfriend who day dreams BBC movies. {{tee hee}}
I tried to make this for a friend for her birthday, so learn from my mistake. Be sure you double confirm with your vinyl vendor that they can actually make this crown. Mine tried and it was too intricate and it got clogged in her machine. Therefore the end result wasn’t as cool as the picture.
Check out Nicole’s Sundae Gift Basket. WOW! Who wouldn’t love receiving this gift. Don’t worry, she’s made a tutorial so you can do it too.
I’ve got to show you Schlosser Designs “You have a Tweet Day” bag. It’s adorable and great for any occasion.
Talk about fun packaging, here is Elaine’s peek-a-boo box. She decided to use the circle and scallop punch for her peek-a-boo window. Too cute!
Thanks Ladies! The ideas are amazing and will work as get well gifts, teacher appreciation gifts, birthday gifts, and more.
P.S. If you have a unique gift idea you’ve blogged about, be sure to submit it so I can feature you!
