I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”

Breathe….I need to remember to do that once in awhile!
my word is “Tranquility” – which is what I am really hoping I can achieve this year! 2010 was a very difficult year for me personally, so am hoping by being tranquil, I will in turn find some balance in all the midst of the madness!
thanks not only for all the great tips, but also for what looks like a beautiful giveaway!

Thankful
My word of the year is grateful, because I am grateful for my health, my family, my friends and my job. Tomany times we complain about what we want versus what we need.
