I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
What’s My Word of the Year? You’ll have to watch my video to find out.{{giggle}}

IÂ’d like to challenge you to pick a word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2011? To encourage {or bribe} everyone to pick their word, I’m giving away a custom necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs, a $52 value.

My word for 2011 is FORGIVENESS. I’ve been working on some pretty heavy family-of-origin issues during 2010, and I think/hope/pray that 2011 is the year I can figure out how to really forgive some people whose baggage I am still carrying around.
I found out on New Years that I am pregnant! The word of the year for me is possibilities <3
I’d have to say my word of the year is ‘be’; there are just so many things I want to do, say and see that sometimes I have to remind myself that I also get a lot from simply being in the moment wherever I am.
This year I want to make do with “less.’
Serenity.
