I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
What’s My Word of the Year? You’ll have to watch my video to find out.{{giggle}}

Wow this is a tough one. I think if I had to pick one word it would be “Grace”. I sure don’t deserve it but God still bestows it on me. Thanks for getting me thinking. ;0) Your boys are adorable, I loved at the end “Can I have a doughnut” then it looked like your son had powdered sugar on his face. Reminds me of my son. LOL
My word of the year is gonna be Reveal. There’s so much I don’t know that is gonna happen this year. New jobs. New home. New mentality. New health habits. It is a year of revealing these things for me.
My theme for this year is “welcome”. It includes personally welcoming whatever change the Lord sends my way. It also includes purposefully welcoming people into my home and my life. I hope open arms and gracious hospitality will fill my year and my kitchen.
Growth – 2011 is going to be all about personal growth and finding my way in life.
