I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
What’s My Word of the Year? You’ll have to watch my video to find out.{{giggle}}

My word is ‘succeed’
CLEAR is my word for this year. It came to me in December (I’ve been choosing/finding a word since 2007 and they seem to choose me) and I wasn’t sure it was the “one” until I looked up it’s definition in Webster’s. I love it all in it’s aspects – as a verb, as an adjective, and as a noun. I look forward to what is CLEAR in my life and in my world this year!
My word of the year is BELIEVE… focused on my spirit. I always have put others first, which is good to do, but I have fallen short for myself. So I need to work on me. Believe: in myself, my self worth, that I can let go of negative things, that there is always hope, that I can forgive myself, that I can see myself through my husbands eyes. By no means am I putting others aside…just trying to remember to remember myself also.
