I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
What’s My Word of the Year? You’ll have to watch my video to find out.{{giggle}}

My word for 2011 would be “Create”…I am working on creating a warm and happy and healthy new home for my beautiful family and the word create inspires me in so many ways.
My word of the year is enjoy. What a fun giveaway!
My word of the year is integrity. I am an engineer and took an oath upon graduation to always uphold strong engineering ethics and integrity. Like other members of the order of the engineer, I wear a steel ring on my right pinky that has a tendency to tap on the table while I’m working to remind me to always do what is right and safe.
