I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
What’s My Word of the Year? You’ll have to watch my video to find out.{{giggle}}

my word is “complete”
for so many reasons.
Love- I want to focus on all of the important relationships in my life!
Hello. I would have to say my word would be HOPEFUL. My mother passed away last year from cancer and it reminds me sometimes we forget to have hope even though it was a blessing as she was in a lot of pain. Without hope, things would always be dreary. Thanks.

Perseverance – steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state, etc., esp. in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement. This encompasses so many other words of the year and applies to every aspect of life. Wish me luck! No, don’t – I WILL persevere!
After some debate I decided that my word of the should be patience. Last year was quite the stuggle for our family, and I learned that if I show a little more patience with some of the things we’re stuggling with they aren’t as difficult to get through.
