How to Prepare Healthy Snacks {chips and dips recipes}

Preparing Healthy snacks can be easier than we might think.   Many of us have the ingredients in our refrigerator to make quick, delicious, easy and healthy snacks!   I bet these ingredient lists for making healthy dips and chips will make you want to make a healthy snack!

I’ve shared with you other videos featuring famous chef, Curtis Stone, but this is the video I got to be involved with. {{squealing}}  How fun is that?

This video which includes recipes for homemade salsa, Tzatziki dip and tortilla and pita chips is so a worth a try!  The recipes for Tzatziki Dip and Salsa taste delicious and they are healthy snacks for the whole family.  Making chips for dipping has never looked so easy, either!

Ingredient List for Salsa:

  • tomato
  • salt and pepper
  • jalapeño
  • garlic green onion
  • white onion
  • lime
  • cilantro

Tip:  If you squeeze the seeds and juice from the tomatoes, the result will be thicker salsa!

Ingredient list for Tzatziki Dip:

  • cucumber
  • lemon
  • salt
  • garlic
  • mint
  • yogurt
Did you know?  The word “tzatziki” comes from the Turkish word “cacik” which means chutney.
Tip:  Seeding the cucumber revoes excess juice so tzatziki is nice and thick.  Also, always server this dip cold!
