So, giving someone laundry soap as a gift may not be the norm, but it’s certainly practical. You know they will use it. Plus, if you attach the pretty gift tag (which you can download and print for free) no one will notice how practical it is. It’s just a lovely homemade gift.
I have been using homemade laundry soap for several months now, I LOVE IT! so cheap and good! Not to mention there are so many chemicals and perfumes we dont know about in store bought laundry soap. Great recipe! Also, if you grate the soap on a really fine grate it helps the soap desolve so much better than if you are using a larger one.
The link still don’t work tho, I was wanting to see the HE safe one. Thank you!
I too have made this in liquid form and while it does last a long time, I find it to be very messy…I’m going to try this recipe (dry formula) and see if it works good for my laundry needs.
Thank you. I love your site and find it to be very useful

I make this but in a liquid form..I melt the soap and then add the rest..I like the liquid soap better..I put it in a five gallon bucket..it does last forever..
