Do any of you Twitter? I know this is completely random and should be put on my personal blog, but it’s 12:43 am and I can’t sleep.
Why?
Because I can’t figure Twitter out. I just don’t get it. Please Help! And if you do get it – please be my friend so I can learn by example. 😉 Maybe that’s my problem, I don’t have anyone to talk to.

Ok, I got a Twitter pro to give us all the scoop on how to Twitter and how to market your products/blog/site using it. Check out my previous posts:

Ok… I’ve read all responses but nobody has answered the question a few have asked. If I respond to someone’s tweet who I am following but they are not following me, will they see my reply? Kind of important to know, otherwise if you don’t have any/many followers what’s the point? thx.
Twitter is like speed dating…in this case speed friendship.
I am new to twitter(opened account a few days ago) I don’t get it either. I know it has to be simple but… If noone is following me then noone ever sees what I’m tweeting twittering whatever? For example, I’m following someone and I find their tweets funny so I want to reply, but if they’re not following me they will never see it? And what the blue blazes if RT and how does that work?
Being an absolute non-techy woman (I can’t even hook up a DVD player to my TV) I was perplexed and confused by the buzz of Twitter. As a new blogger and virgin to the online social networking scene, I felt compelled to figure it out as a possible tool to reach my desired audience.
So I’ve dedicated the last 4 days of my life to understanding this world…and I feel like my head is going blow at any moment from all the possibilities available. I found a quote that’s helped me understand the point more clearly…”Twitter is the place to be my online me at my most unguarded. My blogs are a place to follow a more carefully considered set of rules.” Twitter only allows 140 characters as a “Tweet” so it is off the cuff quick responses. Conversation is KEY.
You can search areas of interest/topics you like and then “follow” them. This is a good article about how to use Twitter to connect with the right people. http://karimgargum.com/how-to-use-twiiter-to-connect-with-the-right-people
I’ve found just “jumping in” and giving it a try is the best way and a word of encouragement…although confusing, it gets easier and is actually a lot of fun.
Ok my question is how the heck to reply to a tweet somone posted. I use mine on my phone all the time as I’m on the go and I get all their tweets on my phone but how do I reply to something they tweeted?
