Do any of you Twitter? I know this is completely random and should be put on my personal blog, but it’s 12:43 am and I can’t sleep.
Why?
Because I can’t figure Twitter out. I just don’t get it. Please Help! And if you do get it – please be my friend so I can learn by example. 😉 Maybe that’s my problem, I don’t have anyone to talk to.

Ok, I got a Twitter pro to give us all the scoop on how to Twitter and how to market your products/blog/site using it. Check out my previous posts:

Hi Laurie
I just learned from my friend Laura from Beltway Bargain Mom that your blog had a great series explaining how to work Twitter.
I tried to read the posts but everytime I click on it your blog reverts automatically to your home page and I can’t read the posts. I tried both Firefox and IE and thought I would pass it on. Otherwise, your blog is very pretty just painful to read right now.
Please advise.
Holly
OK. I hosted a 3 Part guest post on al of these topics. Check it out here:

YES! If you respond to someone’s tweet who you are following but they are not following you, they will they see your reply?
That’s the social networking part of it. Once you start up a conversation, they might decide to “follow” you as well.
I started a Twitter account for my new website (fetescadeaux) becasue I was told that the more followers I have the more traffic I’ll get on my site. When I check my website analytics although I only have 14 followers – it shows that eg 7 people from Twitter looked at my site. How on earth does this work? Do random people just look at my twitter posts and then have a quick look at my website? Or- is it maybe that everytime I Tweet, it looks to the site like website traffic?
I love Twitter and follow people that I know or are known. It gives a window into their lives and makes you feel connected to them. Jeremy Camp uses Twitter in an awesome way to stay connected to his fans and his family does the same. It seems so personal. My question is how do you encourage unknown persons to follow you? There have been a couple of MLM groups that started following me but one has dropped off. My intended goal is to add value to the lives of others, known and unknown. How do the unknown select to follow my Twitter? How did they locate me? Is it random or is there a plan? [email protected]
