Can you believe we are already on week 3 of our “How to Date your Spouse” Challenge? {{high fives}} If you’re just joining us, read this into on how it works. In a nutshell, this year I am committed to putting more focus on dating my man. I think it’s about time that my man also benefits from me being a creative woman. {{evil laugh}} All are welcome to join us over on the Tip Junkie Community to participate in the challenge.
How to Date Your Spouse
This weeks date is simple, no babysitter needed, and no crafting. Just a friendly little competition between the two of you. Head on over to the Tip Junkie Community to get all the details. Don’t wait! As with all the dates, there’s a short invitation you need to give your man today or tomorrow to set the anticipation level. This way you both have something fun to look forward to!
Art & Design Week
It’s Art & Design Week over on the TJ Community! The project of the week is a Valentine’s Day wreath and the Mom-preneur is Brandie with Dream Custom Artwork. She’s giving away a family rules canvas, so head on over to her blog to comment to win.
Next week is Special Needs / Autism week. I’m still looking for an Expert & Mom-preneur to promote. Please let me know if you’re interested.
Winners Announced!
I have a lot of fun winners to announce. {{giddy}} Thank you for your patience. I’ve been working like a mad man, uploading ideas to the new Valentine’s Day blog.

$25 Target Gift Card Winner from the TJ Community: Holly from Little Bit of Life
Custom Jeweled Monogram winner: Kortney Ewing. I made her this uber-fab letter “E” out of broken jewelry and shipped it last week. A huge thanks to Charming Charlie accessory store for donating the jewelry for Kortneys jeweled monogram. Im a huge fan of their accessories.
If you want to make one, here’s a tutorial on how to make your own jeweled wood letter.
I used the remaining jewelry to make this “C” for a dear, dear friend who has been helping me and is an invaluable asset to Tip Junkie. This was the coolest way I could think of to let her know how much she means to me. What do you think?
As always, feel free to share all your DIY projects with us! Simply leave the link to your blog post in the comments, or upload a photo to the Tip Junkie Facebook page. I adore hearing from you. {{wink}}
Question of the Day:
What jeweled letter is your favorite? E or C

Hi Laurie, This day has been leading me on a treasure hunt. It’s funny how life leads you from this to that and it’s all connected. I went to the store Charming Charlie today and it was like I was a little girl in a candy store. So I took about an hour picking out my goodies and then I came home to see if they have an online store. I went to the their website and they don’t, but something told me to click on what to do with your broken jewelry link and to my surprise you were doing a video about the above on here. So I needed to do a blog post anyways so I did it on Charming Chalie and you doing your craft. I thought that was so neat. Anyways, take a look at my post it’s short and sweet and spotlighting you!!

What a great idea! I think after couples have been together for a while we forget how important it is to keep dating. When life gets so busy we forget to take the time for this very important event. Thanks for the reminder.
