How to Make a Belt
1. Two-Tone Knotted Leather Belt ~ Inspired by the reversible Etro Belt, this belt was made from two contrasting pieces of leather. It’s a great upcycle project becuase it’s made from old skirts.
2. DIY Can Tab Belt ~ Make a crocheted belt using old soda can tabs. A few simple crochet stitches and you can make one too. If youve never crocheted before, its ok, there’s a tutorial to show you how.
3. DIY Looping Circles Belt ~ This versatile looping circles belt is simply gorgeous. You can wear it as a belt, necklace, as a hat accessory, hair or even as a curtain tie back. It’s made with circular loop beads, ribbon and braided elastic.
4. Gucci Tassle Belt ~ Hit the hardware store to make this Gucci inspired tassle belt. I love that you don’t have to go the craft store to get all of the supplies.
5. Leather Flower Belt ~ Isnt this Leather Flower Belt funky and fun?! Its also a wonderful refashion of two different skirts. The elastic portion of the belt is a waistband from an old skirt and the flower is from a leather mini skirt. It looks adorable with a t-shirt, can you imagine it with a dress or skirt?!
6. Braided Belt from a T-shirt ~ Stop! Dont throw out that old t-shirt Use this tutorial to make a funky braided belt. You can also use this method to make a headband.
