Mom Blog to Money Blog Review ~ Day 2
I can not tell you how many times a day I get asked questions on how to make money with a blog. It breaks my heart that I can’t clone myself to give everyone a one-on-one consultation or respond to every email or notification I receive. Therefore, I sat down for 4 weeks and wrote everything I know about blogging in this course, Mom Blog to Money Blog.
It’s an online workshop with a one-time membership fee, which is a one year membership, no strings attached, and no hidden fees. It’s straight from my heart spilling all my secrets, with 16 printable checklists, and 21 how-to video’s. My hope was to make you feel like I was right there next to you and walking you through the process. {hugs}
So, are you ready to get paid for your talent and writing writing and bring home the bacon? Ill show you how. {{click the links for more info.}}

When used properly, it can be your biggest marketing tool to create loyal readers, increase page views, and brand your image. I show you how to maximize your RSS feed and add social media buttons and more in Day 2!
Seven Clown Circus ~ Review of Day 2
Angie is a word loving, book devouring, craft-dabbling mama to 5, who blogs at Seven Clown Circus. Shes also a sunshine hoarding, organizationally devout, stringer of letters, words and paragraphs who just happens to adore all things Tip Junkie.
RSS Feed Equals Instant Exposure
In Day 2 of the Mom Blog to Money Blog Workshop I realized just how powerful a RSS feed can be. I had never thought about my RSS feed as a personal assistant that has the power to save me time, brand my image, increase my page views and create loyal readers; all while I was sleeping.
In reading through ways to successfully make my RSS feed work for me, I picked up a few tips like:
- providing an incentive for subscribing to my RSS feed in the form of a freebie
- listing my most popular posts
This has changed the way I blog because it’s made me analyze what I’m doing in my space and how to make it work better.
Do I really need a Kindle version of my blog?
Question for Laurie: Do I really need a Kindle version of my blog?
Answer by Laurie: If you had asked me 6 months ago if you really needed a kindle version of your blog, I would have said no. However, I was shocked to find out that 45% of my traffic on Tip Junkie comes from Safari browsers {iPod, iPad, iPhone} and mobile versions of the site. Our readership is spending less time on their desktop and laptops and significantly more time on their mobile devices, including their Kindle Fire, Kindle apps for the iPhone and similar mobile devices. It’s a lost opportunity if you don’t take the time to create one! It’s another way to work once by setting it up ~ and the Kindle Version of your blog will live on forever on Amazon.com, Kindle store, and a multitude of apps and other devices we haven’t even thought of yet. So do just do it. {cheesy grin}
Thanks Angie, I hope that answers your question from Day 2 of the Mom Blog Money Blog online workshop.
