It’s my turn again people…………me…………..Kim from Today’s Creative Blog! I am so honored to be a guest blogger for Laurie, I hope she is getting the rest her body needs so it can heal.
Like I may have mentioned last week, it’s time to get serious……………..about what you ask? No, not fitness………….I am a fitness specialist and boy howdy do we get slammed around this time of year………….but my own personal motivation this time of year is getting organized. Maybe it’s all the ads for rubbermaid totes………???
The stars must have lined up just right because the gal I featured on Today’s Creative Blog last week , Organize In Style was actually my neighbor………….in the same neighborhood………..we pay into the same home association………can you believe it? We had never met before. We met for coffee yesterday and she is a dynamo! A professional organizer………And a MOM! Right up our alley.
Love her chore jar idea……..
Perfect for the kids. All you do is write out a few things you need done or things they can help you with……place them in the jar and they choose…….no fighting over who gets to flip the pancakes…….if they’re old enough that is………
She was also just nominated for the best organizing blog!………and she’s MY NEIGHBOR! She has more ideas in getting you organized……than a dog has flea’s. I just FEEL more organized just by spending the morning with her. 🙂 She has many downloadable organizing templates through her SheBang site……..Full of information.
Then I checked out a partner of hers………..Brandy. The Home Office Organizer. Which Home Office translates to “The Really Really Messy Scrap Room Office” to me.
You can image how tingly I got when I saw her badge “31 Days of Home Organizing Tips”……….31 days? Really? Is that all it’s going to take me? And I’ll be cured? I’m ready……….And I bet you don’t have to wear spandex………(advice from a fitness expert…..nothing screams NEW YEARS RESOLUTION like spandex ………ditch it)
Here are Brandi’s Home office ideas for getting organized.
31 Days = 31 Home Office Tips

Both of these women are so organized, they have also fit it in their schedules to do a radio show on Blog Talk Radio………..
So whether you’re a mom with a baby securely slung on your hip, or a young hipster who’s just slinging………there is bound to be something for everyone.
For my own shameless plug……..if you’re looking for some free vintage clipart….you can’t miss my feature from yesterday. Oh the projects to be done!

I have 2 and I just ordered 2 more. Don’t tell anyone. Everywhere I take it I get compliments so I ordered a few to have on hand for gifts…they are black and white toile…who can resist…oh and I ordered the new red one too.

Sliding drawers. Sliding drawers. That would be great if I didn’t live in a rental. Oh- how about a lazy susan?
