Make A Cake Stand
Supplies youll need:
- Wooden base from Hobby Lobby
- Terracotta Pot
- Black Spray Paint
- Metallic Spray Paint
- Lace
- Super Glue or E-6000
How To Make A Cake Stand
1. Paint Terracotta Post and Wooden Base in Black. Allow several hours to dry.
2. Tape around the edges, so the silver color wont bleed through.
3. Lay the lace over the wood. Then lightly coat with metallic spray paint. Youll want to make sure and remove the lace and tape after a minute or so.
4. Glue the wooden piece to the base of the terracotta pot.

I love that board. I wish there was a Hobby Lobby next to my house. I think the closest one is 50 miles away.
What a wonderful idea! I have an old platter that I am going to use to make one! Thanks again for the great ideas!
