What is National Dress Up Your Pet Day? Well, National Dress Up Your Pet Day was created for pet lovers to celebrate their pets and make a special day just for them. It’s also a day to support the pet fashion community.
National Dress Up Your Pet Day is celebrated on January 14th of each year. National Dress Up Your Pet Day was founded in 2009 by Celebrity Pet Lifestyle Expert, Colleen Paige.

DIY Pet Costumes to Make
1. Unicorn Costume for Your Dog ~ Your dog will have never looked so cute. (gasp) This tutorial for making a unicorn costume for your dog has step-by-step instructions so anyone can do it.
2. DIY Pineapple Costume ~ There’s no reason not to showcase summer fruit…on your pet. We are so in love with this costume that makes us yearn for warm skies and the sweet fruit of summer.
3. DIY S’mores Dog Costume ~ Grab your glue gun! For a super easy costume to make using only 3 items, this tutorial is for you. It’s got all the elements you’d want for a dress up your pet day costume. It’s cute, easy, and original.
