Color Palette: Have you ever heard of a color scrapbook/album? You collect colors from paper, fabric, photo’s, magazine pictures. Each page has a different color. I have one page of terra cotta and turquoise, another of dove grey/light tan, which is different from straight grey, like on an owl, different from straight tan, like on leather. One page is tropical, turquoise, pink, yellow, orange. One is deer and autumn cornfields. I read this idea somewhere, many years ago. It is very helpful, sometimes if you need inspiration, it helps with that, too.
