We don’t decorate much for Halloween, but we needed something on our porch so the kiddos would want to come trick-or-treating to our house! So, I came up with using a plastic tablecloth to make the tassels, so it’d withstand any type of weather outside!
$1 Ghost Tassel
Inspired From:
You Will Need...
- 1 white plastic tablecloth
- Glue gun + glue sticks
- Scissors
- Black Sharpie
- Twine or yarn
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Start with your tablecloth fresh out of the plastic. unfold your tablecloth ONE time, NOT all of the way. It will still be folded up, so they’ll be more layers in each section.
Step 2
Cut up the crease as shown in number 2. Then, cut the ends so the tassels will be separated.
Step 3
Roll up your section with the tassels on either end as shown in picture 7. Then twist the middle section and overlap and glue together to form the “head.” Add another strip of white tablecloth around the top for the face, and then use a Sharpie to add eyes and a mouth!
Step 4
I hot glued them onto some twine to make them look like they’re flying!
