If you’re wearing acrylic (or fake) nails, it’s important to note that you need to remove them occasionally for your real nails to remain healthy, as well as to avoid any fungal growth. But whats the best way to remove the acrylics? Here are 4 easy steps to do-it-yourself at home…
Step by Step Instructions
Use a pair of nail clippers to trim the acrylic nails down as much as you can.
Take a sheet of aluminum foil and cut it into ten strips, each one big enough to wrap around and cover one of your fingers.
Soak a cotton ball in acetone nail polish remover. Put the soaked cotton on your nail, then wrap it up with the aluminum foil to hold it in place. Repeat for each nail. Leave it in place for 20 minutes.
