You Will Need...
- Beading Wire
- 2 8mm Pearls
- 4 6mm Pearls
- 4 4mm Pearls
- 2 Crimps
- 2 Crimp Covers
- 1 Earwires
- Scissors
- Flat Nosed Pliers
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Start off by cutting two pieces of your bead stringing wire that measure 5 inches in length. I am using Beadalon brand stringing wire in a bright silver colour.
Step 2
Add your pearl beads onto each piece of stringing wire. Place your 8mm pearl in the center, with a 6mm pearl on both sides, followed by a 4mm pearl on both sides. At the end of this step, your earrings should look like the picture on the left.
Step 3
Take one of your now beaded stringing wires and thread both ends through a crimp to form a teardrop shape. Repeat this step for your second piece of stringing wire.
Take one of your beaded teardrops and carefully thread the ends of your stringing wire back through the crimp to form a petite loop at the top. Secure the stringing wire in place by flattening the crimp with your Flat Nosed Pliers. Trim off any excess stringing wire. Repeat this step with your second teardrop
Step 4
Using your Flat Nosed Pliers, attach a completed teardrop to each earwire.
