Felt and Wire Angel Ornament

This darling little angel is cute on the tree and makes a nice package topper. Make them in all the colors of felt you can find!

You Will Need...

Step 1

Using the pattern, cut two of each piece from felt.

Add a knot for each eye on one of the head pieces. Sew each piece to its mate near the edge using embroidery thread.
Step 2

Fold the wire in half and twist about 1″ from the fold to create a loop.
Step 3

Pull the two ends of the wire together and slide the head over the top with the wire inside.
Step 4

Slide the body on using the same method and push it up next to the head. You can add a dab of glue between the two to keep the angel from sliding down later.
Step 5

Curl the feet up about 1″ from the wire ends using a pair of needle nosed pliers.
Step 6

Using hot glue, attach the wings to the back, gluing them to both the head and body.
Step 7

All that’s left is to hang her up or give her away!
