Add interest and personality to a plain wall with a photo gallery.
You Will Need...
- Personal photos
- Frames of various shapes and sizes, (not shown)
- Gorilla Hooks or small nails.
- Optional: frame layout
Step by Step Instructions
First, frame all of the photos you are going to use. You can either use coordinating frames or a group of eclectic frames that work with your style.
Next, create a layout. You can do this by either laying your frames out on the floor until you are happy with the layout, then snapping a digital photo to refer back to, or sketching out a layout on paper, or creating a layout in a photo editing program. I just did this one using Microsoft Paint.
Hang your photos! You can use either nails, or like me, you can use Gorilla Hooks. This was my first time using them, and they work great! Plus they only leave a tiny hole in your wall!
Optional: If you would like, you can add non photo elements, like wooden letter hangings or framed artwork.
