Easy candy airplanes which are a perfect craft activity to make for an airplane party, travel themed party, or just as a fun activity for kids and teenagers. This make a great boredom buster activity but I used it as a party game craft during a Sweet 16 Travel Party I hosted with several fun party games.

You Will Need...
- Mint Lifesavers
- Long Tootsie Rolls
- Stick of Gum
- Decorative Paper
- Rubber band
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
To make 1 candy airplane you will need: 2 lifesavers, 1 long tootsie roll, 1 stick of gum, a rubber band, and decorative paper. {optional}
Step 2
Start by threading the rubber band into the holes of both the mint lifesavers.
Step 3
If you are using decorative paper. Then fold the paper around the stick of gum. No need to tape or secure, the rubber band will do that.
Step 4
Your stick of gum will look like this when folded.
Step 5
Place the stick of gum through the rubber band on each side, securing it in place. Keeping in mind that the rubber band “ends” should each be on the outside of the lifesavers.
Step 6
All done! Your candy airplane should look like this when it is finished.

Next place the long tootsie roll in between the 2 lifesavers and on top of the rubber band, as shown.
