How To Make a MINECRAFT Costume, Easy No-Sew DIY

You Will Need...
- box, craft paint, packing tape, exacto knife
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
1. Tape the box together from the INSIDE. This is important because you won’t want it on the outside because the paint doesn’t work well over it.
2. Now remember, I’m keeping it simple, I drew on and then cut (with the exacto knife) a T-shape for his eyes and nose. I just eyeballed it for where his eyes and nose would be, and then trimmed it up a bit where it needed to be.
Two tips- Start with a smaller T-shaped hole than a larger one because it’s easier to make the hole bigger where it needs to be instead of smaller if you cut it too big.
Also keep in mind that everything Minecraft is geometric, so try to keep your lines clean and straight.
3.Now, for the paint. Please don’t be intimidated by this part, it’s really not that hard. I had about less than a day to make mine, so I didn’t put too much detail into this. I started with the lighter color for the face, let it dry, and then layered with the other shaded of brown for the hair. Again, keep in mind clean geometric lines.
4. Finally, add a white square on the side of each eye, and a black mouth.
I imagine that you can add as many fine lines and details into this part that you’d like. You could take a ruler and get the lines and squares perfect. I didn’t and I also think it’s okay.
