You Will Need...
- You will need:
- Umbrella
- Rubber dinosaur toy figure
- Superglue or similar
- Small flathead screwdriver or borer tool
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
First you need to remove the original handle of your brolly, this might unscrew like you can see it did with mine or you will need to break it to remove it. PMS and a hammer would be good for this job 😉
Next, grab your ferocious little guy and line him up to get the right angle for inserting the stem of the umbrella into as above.
Step 2
Take your small flathead screwdriver or borer, say sorry to little Dino and (carefully) stab a hole in his back where you want to insert the umbrella’s stem. Continue to make these little holes in a circle the same size as the base of your stem.
Step 3
Check the fit is nice and snug and apply glue around the base of your brolly’s stem, allow it to get just a tad tacky and then insert into the hole you made in step #2. Hold still with slight pressure whilst the glue sets.
Step 4
Once the glue has set and is holding sturdy and snug, seal the edges with more glue and leave to set for 1 hour or longer if you have the time.
And you’re done!
