A close friend who loves fishing was having a birthday and I couldn’t find jewelry that was “fishy” enough. So after months gathering clearance chains and charms from Michael’s, JoAnn’s, Hobby Lobby, and local charm/jewelry supply stores, this is what I came up with.

You Will Need...
- large chains, disassembled into one or two link segments
- double-strand necklace finding
- seaside themed charms
- assorted crystal beads
- pierced earring clasps
- jump rings
- necklace clasp
- wire cutters
- jewelry pliers
- beading board
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Lay segments of chain and charms out on a bead board to design the necklace and earrings.
Step 2
bend headpins to create hanging loops for individual beads
Step 3
Add jump rings to attach links, charms, and beads
Step 4
drape sections on an easel as you go to check placement of beads and charms
