Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Travel Agent. Upon arrival each guest received a “flight plan” which was the basic agenda for the party… from a travel agent. All of these game signs were created from Paper Airplane Birthday Party Printable Kit by LePartieSugar. Which I adore!
Step 2
U.S. Customs Declaration. Next guests where given their passports and boarding passes inside a leather passport cover. Wristlet for the girls. Wallets for the boys.
Step 3
Departing Flight. Guests made simple candy airplanes out of 2 lifesaver mints, long tootsie roll, a piece of gum, and a rubber band.
Step 4
Souvenir Station. We didn’t have time for this station, but I thought it would have been fun for guests to make luggage tags!
Step 5
Travel Advice or Well Wishes for Journey. For this station you could have a guest book, travel journal, or do what I did with luggage tags. I had each guest write their ‘advice’ on the back of each luggage tag. This way the birthday girl had something meaningful to take home with her.
Step 6
In-Flight Service. For the dessert table for the travel party I created this fun in-flight snack and in-flight beverage station using First Class Travel Printable Party Kit by Black Leaf Design.
Step 7
Baggage Claim. For guest to ‘Enjoy their Journey’ each guest claimed their mini-suitcase full of chocolates. Mini-luggage party favors were from the First Class Travel Printable Party Kit by Black Leaf Design.
Step 8
I must give a huge thanks to Emily Decker who took most of these amazing photos! Tip Junkie loves to promote women in business. {high fives}
