The goal was to use some of my Dicken’s Village pieces for more than just Christmas. We fit the hardscape to our entry way table. Some cardboard base, some small boxes taped together, some brown kraft paper made the base. A trip to the hardware store provided sand paper for a field, green felt for lamp bases to make the park grass, stair runner grip for a sidewalk and rocks. A few extra pieces from Village 56 and we produced a fun, interesting Thanksgiving scene.
