Here’s a novel twist on an age-old craft. Tie-dye soap is relatively cheap and simple to make, and the end result is a unique and thoughtful gift for friends, relatives, and even your kids’ teachers. Try it out for yourself!
Step by Step Instructions
Cut the soap base into small chunks and place the chunks in a microwave-safe container.
Heat for approx. 30 seconds. Stir the soap and continue to microwave for short increments until it’s completely melted
Mix in a few drops of essential oil (such as rose or lavender oil)
Add a few drops of colorant to each mold
Use a stir stick to swirl the colorant in the soap
Let the soaps cool for a few hours & then pop them out of the molds
