I love finding unique items at the local thrift stores. I embellished a thrift store sweater using items which were found at local thrift stores or around the house to make this Ugly Christmas Sweater. It was surprisingly quick to make as all embellishments were affixed to the sweater utilizing a hot glue gun. The cost for the entire project was about $16.
The attachment includes general instructions, a complete supply list and pattern templates for the shapes.

Gather all your supplies.

I also used various small Christmas themed Thrift Store items. Items in photo are representative of the type of items appropriate to the project. Additionally, small bows, ornaments and similar items will work.
How to Make:
Cut out and assemble eyes and mouth as shown on template.
Round off corners of faux fur.
Finger-comb faux fur away from center in all directions.
Apply eye and mouth assemblies to faux fur with
hot glue gun.
Affix assembled head to sweater as desired.
Arrange and apply embellishments with hot glue gun.
Caution:
If you elect to use an iron on product to assemble head and affix to sweater, be aware that faux fur will melt. Use paper, low to medium iron temperature, move iron constantly, and be careful!
