I love to crochet and I am wanting to learn about new projects to start!
I learned to crochet at the age of seven and have been doing it off and on ever since. Knitting has become a new love and form of therapy after losing two pregnancies and going through infertility. This yarn would be so wonderful to work with. Thanks for the opportunity to win.
I’ve been knitting for almost 4 years, and am amazed at how much I’ve learned in that time, AND at how much I enjoy it! I have more PHDs (projects half-done) than I care to admit, but have also made scarves as gifts that I actually made and gave! :^) Now working on some holiday projects and gifts. My grandmother was a knitter and offered to teach me years ago, but I didn’t think I could do it. How I regret not letting her teach me! When I was pregnant with my oldest son, she announced that she was making her final afghan — and she gave it to me! I treasure it. She made it from scraps of yarn she had on hand at the time. I look forward to my knitting time now, as it relaxes me, although sometimes it certainly challenges me! I always have a project to take with me in case I have to wait somewhere, plus I take projects with me when I travel. In short, I almost always have something I can do if there is “down” time, or if I need to keep my hands busy while I visit or wait. I love collecting patterns and have a list of people’s hobbies/interests as well as their favorite colors, whether they carry water bottles or travel mugs, drink from cans or bottles, etc so I can have ideas of what to make for them. :^)
I have 2 little girls and I know they would love anything that i could learn how to make.
I love to crochet and am teaching my granddaughter.
