If you’re a fish fan and are looking for a regular dose of Omega-3’s in your diet then these six salmon recipes are for you!
Not sure why you need Omega-3’s? According to Web MD:
“The benefits of omega-3s include reducing the risk of heart disease and stroke while helping to reduce symptoms of hypertension, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), joint pain and other rheumatoid problems, as well as certain skin ailments. Some research has even shown that omega-3s can boost the immune system and help protect us from an array of illnesses including Alzheimer’s disease.”
With all these health benefits in mind, here are some recipes to liven up those taste buds all while working towards being more healthy. You’re Welcome.
Oven Baked Salmon Recipe
1.) Foil Bake with Basil Pesto and Tomatoes (step-by-step photos) An easy recipe that tops salmon with tomato and basil. A great spin on your average salmon filet.
2.) Roasted with Horseradish Creme Fraiche This recipe is enticing due to the Horseradish Creme Fraiche. What is that exactly? Creme Fraiche (pronounced Krem Fresh) is described as having a nutty slightly sour flavor. Add in the Horseradish and you get a little kick to tantalize your taste buds! My mouth is already watering.
3.) Sesame Encrusted with Pinot Noir Reduction Oh toasted sesame seeds, how I love thee. Add in some red wine and I am sold on this twist of the Salmon filet.
Grilled Salmon Recipe
4.) Grilled with Jalapeno Glaze How about a little kick to liven up your Omega-3 intake? Healthy doesn’t have to be boring with this jalapeno glazed grilled salmon
5.) Grilled with Avocado Salsa (step-by-step photos) Avocado is my weakness. Topping Salmon with an avocado salsa is a double dose of the good fats and it’s a sure fire way to cure the winter blues.
6.) Grilled with Lime Butter Sauce The juice and zest of a lime plus a little bit of garlic equals a tasty but oh-so-simple salmon recipe that meets the mid-week need for a great meal.

I haven’t always been a fish fan, I think it was mainly the fact that every time I ate fish there were small bones invoved , which I felt ruined my meal. But over the last 3 years I have learnt that there are fish dishes without bones.
The last time I tried salmon there were bones involved, grrr! But salmon always looks to tasty and fresh especially the dishes above, so i may give it another go…
