Song Card w/ CD

Make a CD for a friend for her birthday. But instead of a list of songs, make the songs fit into the text of a letter. I made one for my friend and she loved the CD and it also seemed to be a hit at the party.

Here is a copy of the note I wrote… but you could fit your story into almost any collection of songs.

In fact, Because of You (Kelly Clarkson) I feel Lonely No More (Rob Thomas) You are part of the Reason (Hoobastank) that the first days with Knightley I could say “You Are Loved” (Josh Groban) rather than, “these Clocks (Coldplay) seem to last 100 Years (5 For Fighting)”

Since (Kurt) Been Gone (Kelly Clarkson) it was a crazy time that could have made my family and sanity Collide (Howie Day.) However, it didn’t.

You’re Beautiful (James Blunt) friendship means the world to me. You are fun to Talk (Coldplay) with and run around town at the Speed of Light (Coldplay.) Your genuine, compassionate nature make all around you know When You Say You Love Me (Josh Groban) you mean it. You are more of a treasure than Drops of Jupiter (Train)

The birthday wish I have for you is that This Love (Maroon 5) that you show to all, may be returned to you over and over again. I Don’t Want To Be (Gavin DeGraw) too sappy, just wishing you a happy birthday and hope that you can often wake up in the morning, look outside and see that It’s a Beautiful Day (Sarah Brightman.)
