How to Play Sudoku

Sudoku is played over a 9×9 grid, divided to 3×3 sub grids called “regions”.  The object of Sudoku is to fill the other empty cells with numbers between 1 and 9  with only 1 number in each cell.

1.  Fruit Sudoku ~ What a fun and colorful summer version of sudoku.  It’s perfect for reinforcing mathematical and reasoning skills.

2.  Kindergarten Sudoku Puzzles {Sudoku Printable} ~ Teach your young kids the game of sudoku with this free printable kindergarten sudoku game.  The numbers are replaced with colorful shapes to make it easier for young children to play.  Two sudoku levels to choose from.

3.  Color Sudoku ~ This color sudoku is the easiest way to introduce the puzzle to young children.  Instead of the traditional 9×9 grid this one has a 4×4 grid.

4.  Free Printable Sudoku Puzzle ~ Here is a free Sudoku puzzle you can print.  Choose according to level of difficulty.

5.  May Day Sudoku ~ This is a fun Spring puzzle to share with your child.  There’s an easy version with a 4×4 grid and a regular version.

13.  Animal Word Search ~ Customize your word search by adding text and/or your own images to the printable. Change the font size, color, or rotation if you’d like! Once you’re finished editing, you can either save or print your printable by clicking the appropriate button!

14.  Spring Word Search ~ Keep kids busy finding words that associate with spring.  Each word goes either vertical or horizontal.
