Find the 'Tide Pod' during The Oscars!

I’m so excited about the unveiling of Tide’s newest innovation, Tide Pods.  Tide Pods are a multidimensional laundry detergent that aren’t just new and improved, they are unlike anything on the market.  And, Tide is unveiling the launch during the Oscars!  {squealing!}

Where’s The Tide Pod?

Wanna have some fun with me Sunday night during the Oscars?  If so, let’s see who see’s the “Tide Pod” commercial first during the Oscars!  {THIS JUST IN:  The commercial should be airing between 10 and 10:30 PM!}

The Tide commercial premiering on Sunday during the Oscars not only looks and feels differently than a typical ad for laundry detergent, it includes a “Shazam bug” which will allow viewers {us} to leverage ShazamÂ’s music recognition software to get content about Tide Pods delivered directly to our smart phones.  In addition to informational product videos, we will get access to free product samples as well as a free download of the song from the commercial.  {I’m dying to know what the song is!}

• Tide Pods are a 3 in 1 detergent {cleans, brightens and fights stains}.
• Just pop a “pillow” in the drum of your washing machine and it’ll wash any size load, it’ll dissolve in any temperature {even cold} and it cleans, brightens and fights stains, “so all your looks pop!”

With a new detergent {Tide Pods} that cleans, brightens and fights stains, it should be easy for me to keep my favorite “stand-out” pieces looking Red Carpet ready.  Better yet, it’ll be easy to keep my man and my boys clothes Red Carpet ready too.  I mean, you never know when we’ll have the opportunity to attend a Red Carpet event, right?  {{snicker}}  Excuse me while I go find the perfect pieces…….

What is Shazam?

Shazam is a mobile application

that uses sound recognition technology to immediately tell you information about a song that is currently playing.  I’m sure you’ve heard of it and might even have it already.  It’s one of my favorites!

How To Use the App:

1.  Download Shazam to a smart phone {for free} and open it while a song or audio is playing.

2.  Next, click the “Shazam” button and the app will take a few seconds to listen to the song playing.

3.  Shazam then automatically and immediately tells you the name of the song and the artist.

4.  Here’s where it gets interesting!  The app works much the same way with ads as it does with recognizing music.  The app is trained to recognize the audio from ads, so when we view a “Shazam”  ad, instead of receiving information about the song and artist, we’ll receive information about the product.

I’m going to be on the lookout for the “Shazamable” Tide Pod commercial during the Oscars.  Are you?
