It’s that time again – I’m feature my top ten crafts to make this week from last Tuesday’s linky party. I hope you find something fabulous that you’d like to make this week as well. I had to narrow it down from over 577 posts. Phew! These are just the 10 tutorials that I had time to highlight right now, you’ll see many more on this and the other Tip Junkie sister sites as well. So a huge thank you for those who took the time to link up their fabulous tutorials!
11. DIY Bookshelves – These bookshelves are fantastic! They are easy on the eye and functional. I love that the books are displayed so that your children can easily find them. They would also be great in a family room with canvas prints on them. Ooh, how about black and white photos on them?!
67. Anthro Inspired Quilt– I *heart* this Anthropologie inspired quilt! There is a full tutorial as well as a video to learn how to make this beauty. You don’t have to have expert sewing skills to make this. Just time and patience!
141. Photo Pendant {tutorial} – Aren’t these personalized photo pendants adorable?! They are so simple to make too! Only minimal supplies are needed. Hooray. Since they are personalized you could make party favors. What about Valentine’s Day gifts?
167. Damask Stenciled Curtain Tutorial – Yes, these beautiful damask curtains are stenciled! Amazing. The pattern was stenciled on plain panels from Ikea using craft paint.
209. Sweet Mexican Corn Cake – Doesn’t this corn cake look yummy? It is served as a side dish in some Mexican restaurants, but the combined sweetness from the cornmeal, whipping cream and corn make it the perfect dessert. I always save the best for last. This is it!
397. Leftover Candy Cane Sugar Cubes – These sugar cubes are fabulous! They are the perfect minty addition to your favorite hot beverage. Instead of throwing away your leftover candy canes you can make these lovely sugar cubes. There are so many shape possibilities.
411. Best Way to De-hair Your Couch – We all love our pooches, but not their shedding hair! Just by using a simple rubber glove you can de-hair your couch and other fabric. I just tried this and it really works! Get out. It is much easier and cheaper than buying the lint rollers.
454. Fix Your Broken Makeup – Did you know that you could fix your broken make-up? I didn’t. Who would have thought?! By adding a couple drops of rubbing alcohol you can repair broken eye shadow, pressed powder or even bronzers. The alcohol evaporates so you aren’t doing anything harmful to it.
538. All Natural DIY Laundry Soap – Look at this great tutorial to make your own laundry soap! This is a great way to start the New Year off by helping your budget. All of the items can be found at Wal-Mart. Each batch will do approximately 60-75 loads for around $8.
552. Gear Art Knock Off – This gear art is amazing! All of these gears were found at estate sales and a tractor dealership. Just a little cleaning up and rubbed oil bronze. What a great conversation piece for a mantle, ledges or bookends.
Wondering what was the most popular {or most clicked on} idea from the linky party? Well… it was 50 Free Printables For The New Year. Thanks Ladies. I just adore these ideas! Feel free to grab my I was featured on Tip Junkie blog button. You earned it! {{knuckle bumps}}
You can view all of the 577 ideas linked up HERE. If you have a blog, be sure to check in on Tuesday when you can link up your favorite or most recent handmade project like something you made, party you hosted, a recipe, or fun tip. Also, don’t forget to check out the Tip Junkie Facebook page for even more creative ideas and tutorials.

How exciting! Thanks for featuring my laundry soap!
It ends up being an even better deal than $8 per batch because the ingredients purchased will make many more batches than just one.
