It’s that time again – I’m featuring my top ten crafts to make this week from last Tuesday’s linky party. I hope you find something fabulous that you’d like to make this week as well. I had to narrow it down from over 499 posts. Phew!
These are just the 10 tutorials that I had time to highlight right now, you’ll see many more on this and the other Tip Junkie sister sites as well. So a huge thank you for those who took the time to link up their fabulous tutorials!
41. Fancy Grilled Cheese ~ This delicious grilled cheese sandwich is bursting with flavor. A perfect meal for chilly weather. It’s grilled on pumpernickel bread and filled with black forest ham, brie cheese, parsley and stone ground mustard.
53. Harvest Festival Leaf Pillow ~ This layered leaf pillow is plain gorgeous! I love that neutral colors were used for the leaves instead of the traditional colors. Coordinate your pillow color to match your room and sew on the felt leaves. You can display it from September to Thanksgiving.
89. Cinderella Party ~ Any girl would be lucky to have an enchanted royal princess like this! There are so many dazzling details to wow you from the glittered pumpkin coach to the Cinderella glass slipper party favors.
163. Big Girl Room Reveal ~ Every girls wants a gorgeous room and this one is no exception! The room revamp got a new tufted headboard, a kids play tent (there’s a tutorial for it), an up cycled cabinet and an amazing inspirational quote wall.
225. Hand Painted Christmas Dish Towels ~ Aren’t these dish towels festive and fabulous?! White cotton fabric was hand painted with Jacquard Lumiere paints and a basic sewing machine stitch was used. You can use masking tape for the ‘JOY’ letters.
356. DIY Lunchable Jar ~ You won’t have to throw away any more ziploc lunch bags anymore once you make this lunch able jar. Two mason jar lids were soldered together to attach the jars. They’re perfect for pairing granola and yogurt, soup and crackers or cereal and milk.
384. Wrapped Chain Bracelets ~ Bracelets are so trendy right now and the more the merrier! So creating a few DIY bracelets might give your wallet a little relief and occupy a little time being crafty! Using plastic bead trim, embroidery floss, dollar store bangle bracelets and this tutorial you will be able to easily make these stylish bracelets!
431. Twizzler Cake ~ This Twizzler cake is absolute perfection! Using seasonal candy you can decorate this cake for almost any holiday. I love that you don’t have to be a cake decorating extraordinaire to make it. And, what a great way to use up some leftover Halloween candy.
446. Sweater Lampshade ~ Look at this beautiful up cycled sweater lampshade! It’s another great project for using an old sweater. Only two supplies are necessary, an old sweater and a lampshade. Slide it over a lampshade for Fall and remove it for Spring.
493. How to Make Wood Look Old & Weathered ~ This is a wonderful tutorial to make wood look old and weathered. Alicia achieved a “a perfect distressed weathered greyish brownish whitish finish”. The walnut stain on the base is a fantastic contrast.
Wondering what was the most popular {or most clicked on} idea from the linky party? Well… it was 10 Creative Uses for Leftover Halloween Candy.
