Top 10 Crafts to Make This Week {2/26}

It’s that time again – I’m feature my top ten crafts to make this week from last Tuesday’s linky party. I hope you find something fabulous that you’d like to make this week as well. I had to narrow it down from over 830 posts. Phew!

These are just the 10 tutorials that I had time to highlight right now, you’ll see many more on this and the other Tip Junkie sister sites as well. So a huge thank you for those who took the time to link up their fabulous tutorials!

18.  Loaded Crockpot Potato Soup – Yummy creamy potato soup without the cream!  This veggie soup is the perfect comfort food for these cold winter months!  It cooks in the crockpot so you can spend your time making other projects. {wink}

112.  Pretty DIY Cake Stands – Make your dessert table even prettier with these fabulous cake stands.  A few items from the hardware store is all you need, furniture legs and rectangular bases.  Spray paint, add ribbon and pom pom trim.  Voila!

146.  DIY Crate & Barrel Mercury Glass Lamp – Look at this gorgeous mercury lamp base knock-off from Crate and Barrel!  If you are lucky to find glass lamp bases then this project will be pretty simple.  After several coats of Looking Glass Spray Paint a final sponging of gold and black craft paint gave it the authentic mercury glass look.

245.  Le Pouf Pincushion – This vintage looking pincushion is absolutely adorable.  I love how the pincushion doubles as a button storage.  Very functional.  It is also a recycled baby food jar.

346.  Lazy Guide to Painting Fast Striped Walls – Aren’t these striped walls amazing?!  Follow these simple time saving tips to paint your own stripes.

402.  Embellish Bobby Pins – If you are a girly girl or have daughters then this is the perfect project for you!  And, they are so stinkin’ cute!  There are tips to buying a good bobby pin and how to glue the felt, buttons and flowers to the bobby pins.

501.  Tuxedo Blouse – This tuxedo blouse is fun and chic!  You can turn your boring plain black blouse into this fabulous one.  All you need is grosgrain ribbon, lace and buttons.

630.  DIY Fabric Tape – I simply adore this fabric tape!  You’re going to want to make it in many different fabrics when you see how easy it is to make.  Carpet tape and fabric is all it takes.

715.  Easy Chunky Cuff Bracelet – Look at how fab-u-lous these chunky cuff bracelets are!  They are the perfect bracelet because they are adjustable and fit any size wrist.  The cuff bracelet and the pendant were bought at Michael’s and cost under $10.

804.  Update An Old Desk in 10 Minutes – This old desk update is amazing.  The desk top was too small and wasn’t being utilized.  Using 2×4’s it was updated to make a larger desk top.  An extra 6 inches to be exact.
