It’s that time again – I’m feature my top ten crafts to make this week from last Tuesday’s linky party. I hope you find something fabulous that you’d like to make this week as well. I had to narrow it down from over 776 posts. Phew!
These are just the 10 tutorials that I had time to highlight right now, you’ll see many more on this and the other Tip Junkie sister sites as well. So a huge thank you for those who took the time to link up their fabulous tutorials!
5. Simple Tip for Tinting Jars and Bottles – These lovely tinted jars and bottles would be beautiful additions for Spring decorating! Only three items are needed to make them, mod podge, food coloring and recycled bottles. You won’t even have to go buy paint to make these. Yay!
58. Embroidery Thread Storage – Look at how fantastic these embroidery thread storage pins are! It’s a jar full of eye candy. It’s also a great way to keep your embroidery thread organized.
177. Reversible Baby Booties – This pair of adorned baby booties is absolutely darling! Reversible too! How fantastic is that?! You can either buy a Simplicity bootie pattern or trace your own template.
263. DIY Euro Shames with Ribbon Trim – Spruce up your bedding with these beautiful ribbon embellished pillow shams! This step-by-step tutorial shows you how to make your own shams for a fraction of the cost. The grosgrain ribbon embellishment adds the perfect touch.
313. Tulip Skirt – Could this skirt be any more adorable?! Melly wanted a sculptural shape and coloring so that the skirt would really look like a flower. It’s two layers of taffeta and a couple layers of stiff netting in between.
437. Anthropologie Inspired Necklace – It’s not too early to start making your Mother’s Day gifts. Start with this beautiful fabric necklace. It’s perfect for your sister, mother or even teacher for appreciation day next month.
520. Hula Fringe Burlap Lamp Shade – I adore burlap and this fringed lamp shade is no exception! Overlap strips of burlap and remove 5 strands from each strip. Doing this will give it a frayed edge. Instant fringe, voila!
590. Hawaiian Lava Flows – Nothing says refreshing like a tropical Hawaiian drink. Especially if you have been having warm weather like I have been. This beverage doesn’t contain alcohol so you can give it to the kids too. Pineapple juice, coconut milk, strawberries and half and half blended for a frothy combination. Yummy!
640. Crate Shelves – These crate shelves are not only practical, but fabulous! You can build your own shelves using scrap wood. Make them in different sizes for dimension and add your favorite trinkets.
725. Little Girl’s Bookcases – Freshen up your little girl’s bookcase by adding chalk paint to the back and adding black to the detailing on the drawers. It gives the bookcase a fresh new look! Who doesn’t love chalk paint?! It’s a fun decor element.
Wondering what was the most popular {or most clicked on} idea from the linky party? Well… it was Looking Cute and Skinny in Front of the Camera.
