It’s that time again – I’m feature my top ten crafts to make this week from last Tuesday’s linky party. I hope you find something fabulous that you’d like to make this week as well. I had to narrow it down from over 805 posts. Phew! These are just the 10 tutorials that I had time to highlight right now, you’ll see many more on this and the other Tip Junkie sister sites as well. So a huge thank you for those who took the time to link up their fabulous tutorials!
29. Apron Top Tutorial ~ This little girl’s apron top is absolutely darling and perfect for summer! The back opening and fabric loops are fabulous. Follow the detailed tutorial to make your own top.
69. Vintage Lamp Revamp ~ Look at this adorable chicken wire lamp shade! It’s so colorful and perfect for revamping a craft room or little girls room. An old thrift store lamp was spray-painted turquoise. The fabric was removed from the lampshade and replaced with chicken wire, ric rac and flower embellishments.
173. Dreamy Bed Reveal ~ This updated dreamy bed is absolutely gorgeous! It’s former glory was a cherry stain. But, after a chalk paint mixture of paint and plaster of paris and lots of sandpaper it’s freshened up and beautiful!
207. Sewing Machine Needle Cushion ~ This needle cushion is absolutely fab-u-lous! A needle description template was used with transfer artist paper so that you can keep track of different needles and sizes. The added embellishments are the cherry on top.
362. Stenciled Rug Tutorial ~ Give new life and pizzazz to a boring, plain, and stained rug. Using a stencil, paint brush, and latex paint you can revamp your rug. The possibilities are endless with all of the stencils available.
435. Chocolate Thin Mint Ice Cream ~ Doesn’t this Chocolate Thin Mint Ice Cream look heavenly?! The Thin Mints used in this recipe are the best ever, Girl Scouts. If your cookie monsters haven’t already gobbled them up you must try this recipe.
537. DIY Air Fresheners ~ These DIY Air Fresheners are not only adorable they also neutralize odors in the home. Using recycled jars you can add the fragrance and baking soda mixture to them. Decorate the jar with fabric and ribbon for a beautiful freshener or give it away as a gift.
692. Hanging Outdoor Globe Light ~ Now that warmer evenings are just around the corner you can add some beautiful ambiance to the outdoors with this Glass Globe Light. You can make this beauty with a Prismatic Glass light globe, jump rings, hardware store chain and wire cutters.
713. DIY Sharpie Stencil Pillow ~ Isn’t this graphic pillow fantastic?! It’s hard to believe that the pattern was traced using a sharpie pen. Follow the tutorial to make your own stencil pattern. Trace the pattern on to your pillow and fill in the pattern. Voila!
804. Mother’s Day Gift: Baby Footprint Necklace ~ Looking for the perfect Mother’s Day gift? Well, look no further. This actual baby footprint necklace is ‘extra special’, personalized, easy, and inexpensive. Simply stamp the babies footprint onto shrinky dinks, cut around the print and bake to ‘shrink’ the print. I’ll bet grandmother’s will want one too! {wink}
Wondering what was the most popular {or most clicked on} idea from the linky party? Well… it was Non-Food Classroom Birthday Treats. Thanks Ladies. I just adore these ideas! Feel free to grab my I was featured on Tip Junkie blog button. You earned it! {{knuckle bumps}}
